dc98 from dvxuser.com discusses an interesting idea about 3K video with a Canon EOS 7D. He uses the burst mode of the cam to shoot images and then let it pass through Twixtor/Kronos to get some nice SlowMos.

Cool but very old news and actually easy with the 7D.
prepare-amazed-slr-motordrive-first-test.html) in 2004 with motordrive on a Canon Elan 7 and early version of Twixtor (See my short Crisp Yellow Flowers that was shot with Elan on Fuji slide film). I made a whole 5 minute short with Pentax K10d burst mode (2fps) to 24fps + Twixtor (Still Life).
I’m currently in production on an IMAX film animated from still photographs and major sequences are being shot 7D 8fps burst + Twixtor.
Several others including a filmmaker in Hong Kong have been using this technique for years from my work at DVInfo.net. It’s very possible they figured this out on their own but this technique has been around and it’s surprising more people don’t use it.
